Finally Finished

We watched our film again and found that some pieces were out of time and we had shots that did not flow into each other.

We tweeked the pieces that were not right and made sure that everything else was perfect.

Mr johnson then exported the video onto tape.

Below is our finished video.

Film Finished

Today we finished our film, we had a little trouble with adding the title of the song onto the beginning and the end of the video but over it itself. However we overcame this problem and had our video uploaded.

Old stuff

When looking through our video we could see that it was very repetitive. So me and Rosela decided that we should add some of the footage that we filmed at the beginning, which was the garden and garage scenes.

When we added these pieces of film we see that it came together really well and gave our video more of a storyline.

Refilming the Lip Synching

We found that our video had become very boring as we only had 2 locations. Also we needed another location for our lip synching.

We chose another location which was our school, this simple and a very natural locaton which suits our video perfectly.

I sang the whole through twice in 2 different positions.

Shadow

Today we filmed another shot in my bedroom. We had a plain white wall with a lamp shining onto one side of my face. This created a shadow onto the wall. We filmed the whole song with me lip synching.

We liked this affect as is created the soft, flowing effect which is the same feel as the ballet.

When editing the footage we found we had a problem. We could see the shadow of the tripod and camera. So when editing we had to crop the image.

Fading Effect

In our music video we wanted to create a shot which had one clip faded into another.
We did this by clicking the 'pen tool', this created a black line on our clips, also with this tool we could apply small black dots that we could drag either up or down which brings the fade in and out and can control how strong or weak we wanted the fade.

This is how the fading effect worked on the 2 clips.
