The music video 'Once in a Lifetime' was very successful. However the video itself was extraordinary and unusual. The video was successful for David Byrnes strange dance moves, the purpose of this is that it would be remembered. Also it travelled round by word of mouth. It was also very cultural as while David was in the foreground singing the song there were small videos of people in other countries such as the poorer countries. It was also successful as it was misleading and it was one of the first music videos to use the different backdrops and technologies.
